Texas Tech University Independent School District (TTUISD) Diploma Program
TTUISD stands for Texas Tech University Independent School District. This is a Texas Education Agency (TEA) accredited homeschool diploma program. Elementary, Middle and High School students can be a part of this program.
Students must withdraw from their local school and be admitted to TTUISD. Their transcript is evaluated by our school counselors and coursework is selected on recommendations from them. The student does not attend his local public or private school when he is admitted to TTUISD, but does all his coursework through TTUISD at a distance.
There is a one time, non-refundable $50 fee. Fill out the
admission form and mail or fax with payment. Be sure to read carefully and sign where indicated.
One course is 0.5 credits. To be a full-time student, we require a student to be enrolled in four courses. To keep up with a four year system, students will need to enroll in at least six courses per half year.
You can enroll online by using our
online enrollment form. Or you can enroll in specific classes by viewing our
online course catalog. Additionally, our TTUISD couselors are available every working day to guide you and take your orders by phone. Our toll free number is 800.692.6877. Choose option 1, then option 3.
Courses are $130 per half credit for high school students and $120 per half credit for middile and elementary school students.
Textbooks are an additional cost. An approximate cost per year is $1,200 - $1,500.

Our curriculum is reading and writing intensive and cannot be modified in any way. Due to the nature of our program, being that it is correspondence courses, we would have to review the student's IEP to determine if the student could be successful with out program.
